Tags

We've now added the ability to add tags (keywords) to a quiz and search by those tags. When you are viewing a quiz you can select "Edit Tags" which allows you to select from a list of tags or type in your own tags.

For example if you're creating a Maths quiz for yourself to revise or for students to learn from you can select the "Mathematics" tag.

You can use the search to find this quiz by topic. Change the search type from "Search Title/Intro" to "Search Tags" and entry "Mathematics" in the box to the right. And press the "Go" button.

You'll fine all the quizzes that have a "Mathematics" tag.

Thanks for everyone that's been creating quizzes. Feel free to drop us a line with any suggestions or questions.

Having pages of info within a quiz.

It's now possible to add pages of information to a quiz through the website (as well as through moodle).

If you add a question without answers it will be treated as a page of text, with the question text becoming the title and the explanation becoming the page's text.

This allows people to both revise information and then answer question on them.

New Stuff for Moodle

Just a quick note for any Moodle users that may have missed the announcement of our latest update.

We've changed the module so it now allows 'Essay' and 'Description' question types. These question types will be displayed on the phone without prompting the user for an answer.

So you can present information in the quiz as well as questions.

For example you might present two pages of text followed by 5 questions, then 2 more pages of text followed by another section of 5 questions.

The latest version can be found at

Thanks to Antonio for his help with some correction to the Spanish translation.

Whilst on the topic of translations, we well be translating the menu system to Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian soon. So stay tuned.

If you have any suggestions of new functionality, quiz ideas or requests for the website please feel free to leave a comment or contact us either here or at
